RM is a multimedia container format created by RealNetworks. RealMedia file extension is *.rm. It is typically used in conjunction with RealVideo and RealAudio and is popular for streaming content on the Internet. 

WMV contains video and audio streams respectively using Windows Media Video codec and Windows Media Audio codec.

To convert rm to wmv, please install the latest RealPlayer if Windows has not installed it. Download RealMedia Splitter, Unzip the file with WinRAR, use the command line "regsvr32" to register it. Or download the bat file to Release folder to register.

Download WMV Converter which can convert rm to wmv file. Select a rm file, change some parameters such as the video encoding bitrate,  audio encoding bitrate, resolution, frame rate etc if necessary.

If set the customized size to watch high definition in 1280x720 (720p) or 1920x1080 (1080p) resolutions, and increase bit rate, you may convert rm to wmv HD.

DVB transmission system makes use of all common television broadcasting transmission media including satellite, cable, terrestrial, SMATV, MNDSD, whose DVD Standards are respectively are DVB-S, DVB-C, DVB-T, DVB-SMATV, DVB-MS and DVB-MC.
