SVCD is short of Super Video Compact
Disc. With one more word Super than VCD. SVCD does appear
more powerful than vcd in relative technology they applied
to image quality, language functions, etc. SVCD is developed
by China Recording Standards Committee to enhance the
independence of China's software industry as well as to
reduce the cost of DVD and its license fee, etc. svcd also
