Markdown Converter

Turn Markdown into a polished document — Type or paste Markdown (or drop in a .md file) and the live preview updates as you write. The exported HTML is a fully self-contained document with embedded CSS and GitHub-style heading anchors; PDF is rendered page-by-page from the same preview (image-based, CJK safe); DOCX keeps real headings, lists, tables, quotes and code blocks with a Chinese-friendly font (SimSun). Choose between Default / Screen / Print themes and optionally prepend a table-of-contents navigation. Everything runs locally in your browser — no upload, no server.

Notes: The Preview and the HTML export use the exact same CSS, so what you see is what you download. The PDF is built from the preview page-by-page (image-based, safe for Chinese characters) and the DOCX keeps headings/lists/tables/quotes/code with real Word styles. Code blocks inside exported DOCX use Consolas on a light-grey background; inline images become a [image] placeholder in DOCX for now.

What is Markdown?

Markdown is a plain-text shorthand for HTML: # makes a heading, ** makes bold, - makes a list. The core (CommonMark) is a standardized specification; GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) adds tables, task lists and autolinks on top. Converting to HTML is deterministic — the same input always renders the same output, which is why it won for READMEs, docs and comments.

Exported HTML here embeds its CSS, so the file stands alone; heading anchors follow the GitHub slug convention.
