Random Number Generator

Roll integers or decimals inside any minimum–maximum range, as a list or one per line. Ask for unique values (no repeats, like a lottery draw) or leave repeats on. Want reproducible results for testing — supply a seed, and the exact same numbers will come back every time. Also see the Hash Generator for deterministic digests of text and files.
Runs entirely locally — nothing is uploaded.

Separator: Seed: Same seed → same sequence. Paste a seed to reproduce a run.
Set a range, count and options, then click Generate — or press Ctrl+Enter.
Numbers that behave:
Integer draws between min and max are inclusive on both ends. When Unique is on, a shuffled range is used for small ranges and rejection sampling for large ones, so every value appears at most once. The generator runs on mulberry32 — a fast, well-tested pseudo-random algorithm — seeded from your browser’s cryptographic source unless you type a seed. Supplying the same seed always reproduces the same list, which is handy for unit tests, A/B fixtures and workshop draws that must be rerun identically.
Pseudo-random vs cryptographic randomness

A PRNG such as mulberry32 turns a seed into a fixed, reproducible stream — ideal for tests and rerunnable fixtures. A CSPRNG (your browser’s crypto source) is unpredictable by design — what security decisions need. This page uses both: cryptographic by default, mulberry32 when you pin a seed. Draws are uniform: every value in the range is equally likely, with no bell curve.

Never derive passwords, tokens or raffle outcomes from a seeded stream — anyone holding the seed can replay it. Use a CSPRNG-based generator for anything where predictability is a risk.
