Encode plain text into international ITU Morse code or decode Morse back into letters, digits and common punctuation.
Encoding is case-insensitive (letters are printed in capitals); words are separated by a / or | marker.
All processing happens locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
Word separator:
Encode Text → Morse: Each letter, digit or punctuation character becomes its dot/dash code; one space separates letters inside a word, and the chosen marker separates words. Characters that have no Morse form (e.g. CJK) are reported with their position.
Decode Morse → Text: Morse runs are separated by spaces; / or | marks a word boundary. Extra whitespace is tolerated. An unknown run of dots/dashes is reported with its position.
