Go Formatter

Reformat Go (Golang) source code to the canonical Go style — the same output produced by gofmt on your machine. Output is deterministic: no options, one true style. More code tools: Python Formatter | C/C++/C#/Java Formatter | Shell Script Formatter | Code Formatter (JS/TS/PHP/TOML).
All processing happens locally in your browser — your code is never uploaded to any server.
gofmt default rules (no options): tabs for indentation, spaces for alignment; aligns struct fields, composite literals, and comments into columns; removes redundant parentheses and unnecessary semicolons; normalizes import declarations; keeps a single trailing newline.
How to use: Paste your Go code in the left textarea and click Process (or just type — auto-process on input).
Behavior: Output matches gofmt (tab indentation, column alignment, spacing normalization). The optional gofmt -s simplification pass is not applied.
Syntax errors: Invalid Go is reported with the exact parser error instead of being silently changed.
Privacy: The formatter runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing is ever uploaded.
gofmt’s philosophy: no options

Go ships one official formatter, gofmt: tabs for indentation, aligned struct fields, no configuration knobs. The entire ecosystem shares a single look, so code reads the same in every repository and reviews can focus entirely on logic.

The lack of options is the feature — a formatter that cannot be configured cannot fragment a community into style camps.
